Bletchley Park is an essential slice of British history. Hear the stories of the men and women who cracked the Enigma code and learn all about the iconic WW2 hero, Alan Turing.
Here wartime Britain has been stunningly recreated with authentic set dressing. See the real office of Alan Turing and the largest and most comprehensive display of Enigma machines in the world. There’s also the world’s only operational Bombe rebuild, garages complete with WW2 vehicles and the device used to mechanise the codebreaking of Enigma. Wow!
There are tonnes of interactive exhibits so you may want to pick and choose which ones you visit with kids in tow. You’ll find some in the main mansion and museum including, How people lived in WW2 and Hitler’s “Unbreakable” Cipher Machine Gallery. You can also ‘meet’ the codebreakers and listen to their accounts of this groundbreaking time, as well as hearing how pigeons were used in WW2. Yes, really! Afterwards, take a seat at the coffee shop and see what you can find in the gift shop.

Last entry is 1 hour before closing.
